Wedding Show Producer
(Specific to Ray Bialek’s Ray of Sunshine email group)
Job responsibilities include:
- Build long-term partnerships with wedding professionals and industry experts through social media, all forms of outreach and networking opportunities
- Director of sales. Achieve sales goals with a focus on continue growth of the company both organically and through acquisition
- Work with Sr. Graphics Designer to develop promotions and marketing
- Actively and regularly engaged in social media
- Responsible for all pre-show activities
- Event logistics day of show: managing vendors and ensuring all details are executed flawlessly
- Attend all shows and continue to develop rapport with industry leaders
- Manages CRM entries
- Ensures cost-effective solutions are implemented
- Effectively fields and manages sales leads to reps
- Prepares post-event reports
Required skills/qualifications:
- 3 – 5 years of experience required
- 4 year college degree in related field
- Must be a highly organized
- Detail-oriented individual manager with great leadership skills and a very effective independent worker
- Excellent communication skills a must
- Requires an innovative, outgoing, and self-starter personality
- Ability to appropriately handle difficult or emotional vendor situations while enforce show rules equally to all
- Must be able to handle and manipulate 50 – 75lbs
Salary and Benefits
- $50,000 + Commission; Equity Partnership Option is desired
- SEASONAL: Fall and Winter (7-9 Months of dedicated work)
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm, Weekends as needed

MARKETS:
Career opportunities available in DC, Baltimore, Virginia, and Maryland. Ampa provides variety of event production services for corporate, non-profits, universities, worthy causes, gala, social, government and political clients. Our geographic coverages is primarily the mid-Atlantic states/east coast, and as a touring production company National meeting and Marketing Tours.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift 50 lbs. unassisted; 75 lbs. with handcarts, etc. All positions at Ampa require some physical activity
- Able to work: weekends and holidays and in all conditions – weather, indoors or out; travel and overnights are required
- Good general academic skills: math, english, spelling, typing and possess good computer skills – Mac preferred
- Take responsibility and initiative
- Good verbal skills, good people skills in person and via phone
- Well groomed and presentable for business meetings as well as site work
