Hi Ted,
Thank you for all your help in making our Homecoming dance a HUGE success. Our kids had an absolute blast! The kids loved everything! The lights, furniture, the heaters, the band, tent, snacks, etc. Overall…it was a great event and we do realize it took a giant team effort.
Our kids do know how to pitch in and help! I was so glad so many stayed after to help bring all the furniture to the truck and in such a timely manner.
I do have to say, I’m so glad you were there because I felt like the gentleman who dropped off the items wasn’t able to answer a lot of the questions we had but when you arrived, things seemed to move a bit smoother.

It was wonderful! The spider web lights were a hit, as well as the crypt tables for the bar. All of the lighting, tables, and lounge seating were fabulous, and all in all, Ampa did a fantastic job.

They arrived on time for setup and take down, and I had zero issues with any of the games we ordered. Ampa Events offers exceptionally professional, detailed, reasonably priced, and more than accommodating services. They provided decor and life-size props for the 2018 Howard University Graduate Student Assembly Awards Gala which had an Egyptian theme. They were very patient while we were in our planning process and played an integral role in the execution of our event which exceeded our expectations (Mina- design of original invoice, Sandy- payments and invoice accommodations, Lou- revision of the invoice). All of the Ampa Events staff did a wonderful job in assisting us, but I must take the time to give a major shoutout to Mr. Tripp who delivered, installed, broke down our event! He was the only vendor who arrived at the agreed upon call time (early in fact), without an excuse, concern, or question beyond what we needed him to do. He met us with a warm personality, even after our event which ended after 1am. He was extremely diligent, fast and detailed in his work. When only one volunteer showed up to help us set up at the agreed upon call time before our event, Mr. Tripp stepped in using his blatant, refined experience and expertise to set all the props we ordered in the perfect way making the room look great and equally wowing our 200 guests at the Willard Intercontinental Hotel’s Grand Ballroom in Washington, D.C.I am so impressed and satisfied with the services provided by Ampa Events.
